Films to look out for in March – April

Movie trailers and posters play a big role in luring the audiences to the cinema halls. They can either make or break an entire movie’s release in a matter of minutes.

Considering its importance, Bollywood filmmakers have mastered the act of cutting the perfect promotional ways that not only impresses but also ensures to pull in the crowd on the day of the film’s release.

We take a look at some of the upcoming movies that are promising and have already got us excited as hell.

  1. Phillauri:

Featuring Anushka Sharma as a friendly ghost, the trailer of Phillauri looks refreshing and promises limitless fun time. And yeah, there is plenty of romance too. The film will have Anushka Sharma, Diljit Dosanjh and Suraj Sharma in the lead roles. The film is scheduled for release on March 24, 2017

2. Jagga Jasoos:

A young detective sets out to look for his missing father on a journey that takes him on a life-changing adventure. The film releases on the 7th of April 2017. 3. Noor:

Noor is an upcoming Indian drama film directed by Sunhil Sippy, Starring Sonakshi Sinha in the lead role alongside ,Kanan Gill, Shibani Dandekar, Purab Kohli. The film releases on 21 April 2017. Based on the novel ‘Karachi, You’re Killing Me!’,  Noor promises equal amount of fun and drama.

4. Begum Jaan:

Lived as whores, fought as queens! The movie is written and directed by National award-winning director Srijit Mukherjee. It stars Vidya Balan in leading role with Naseeruddin Shah, Ila Arun, Gauahar Khan, Pallavi Sharda, Rajit Kapoor, Ashish Vidyarthi, Vivek Mushran, Chunky Pandey, Poonam Singh Rajput, Ridheema Tiwari, Flora Saini, Priyanka Setia, Mishti Chakraborty, Sumit Nijhawan, Pitobash and Rajesh Sharma in pivotal roles. The movie will release in cinemas on 14th April 2017.  To be honest, the trailer of Begum Jaan will leave you speechless to speak further.

5. Sarkar 3:

Amitabh Bachchan is back as Sarkar and he is angrier than ever. Featuring Yami Gautam, Amit Sadh, Jackie Shroff, Manoj Bajpayee, Ronit Roy & Rohini Hattangadi. The movie releases on 7th April, 2017. Ram Gopal Varma’s Sarkar 3 trailer neatly encapsulates all the movie to look out for.

6. Naam Shabana:

The Indian action spy thriller film Naam Shabana directed by Shivam Nair is a spin-off to Taapsee’s character from the 2015 film Baby. The movie cast Taapsee Pannu, Manoj Bajpayee, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Taher Shabbir, Virendra Saxena. The movie has special appearance of Akshay Kumar, Danny Denzongpa, Madhurima Tulli, Murali Sharma, Elli AvrRam and Anupam Kher. 7. Baahubali 2:

SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 Releasing in theaters April 28. Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion is part a two part Indian movie, directed by S.S. Rajamouli. The film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, as well as several other International languages simultaneously. Part 1, Baahubali – The Beginning was the biggest blockbuster of Indian cinema. The film casts Prabhas, Anushka, Tamannaah, Rana Daggubati, Sathyaraj, Nasser, Ramya Krishna, Subbaraju.
