First off tell us how you were “discovered” and how your modelling career all started?
Well, its funny to say, but I actually wasn’t discovered by anyone; however modelling happened to me. And I was lucky with it. It all started when I was encouraging a friend to audition for a commercial print shoot in my college campus and finally I landed up doing it, as he got nervous and backed out last moment. From then onward there wasn’t any looking back and I got a lot of offers .
From model to doctor: Can you tell us a bit about your background, and in particular about your reasons for deciding to become a doctor?
Well modelling happened to me quite early in age. I was about 17 when I started doing prints. On the other hand I was determined to be a doctor. One reason being a doctor, I had seen while I was growing up my mother (who is a doctor) and was always fascinated to be one. I was later determined academically and had strong professional goals and agenda as to what I want to be. Simultaneously modelling became an integral part of my life. It was a passion. I enjoyed best of both worlds which are absolutely different from each other. I am lucky to have been titled as a Doctor and as a Model. Having said that a lot of hard work and immense determination did go into it.
