HCG Foundation to host the Annual Masquerade Charity Ball
Masked in an evening of activities, HCG foundation conducts the Masquerade Charity Ball every year with the aim to raise funds for the welfare of underprivileged cancer patients. The funds raised through the contribution of internal and external stakeholders goes to HCG Foundation that provides subsidised or sponsored treatment to cancer patients from financially humble background.
The fund raised during Masquerade Charity Ball in the previous years, HCG foundation has successfully aided 67 patients amounting to INR 63, 40,249, in addition to offering subsidised charges in the last three quarters of FY 2017-18. HCG foundation also has initiated the preventive oncology program through Mobile Cancer Screening Unit known as Sanjeevani, which is donated by Infosys Foundation. It is envisaged to increase access to Cancer care to the rural population of North Karnataka. The foundation also is actively involved in conducting events and spreading awareness about Cancer prevention among the rural population in various locations.
